# Why Unique?

The HSX token, which is used in the HelpSteps app, is unique in several ways. First, the app itself has a successful track record, with over 1.6 million users and more than 30 NGOs supported to date. This demonstrates the app's ability to make a real impact in the world and the strength of its user base.

In addition, the HSX token utilizes a **unique tokenization structure** that enables **non-inflationary conversion of steps into tokens**. Through the use of bonding curves, an unlimited supply of steps can be converted into a finite number of HSX tokens, adding value to the token. Overall, the HSX token is a unique and innovative way for users to earn rewards and make a difference in the world through their physical activity.

## Querying This Documentation
If you need additional information that is not directly available in this page, you can query the documentation dynamically by asking a question.

Perform an HTTP GET request on the current page URL with the `ask` query parameter, and the optional `goal` query parameter:

```
GET https://help-steps-1.gitbook.io/whitepaper/hsx-token/why-unique.md?ask=<question>&goal=<endgoal>
```

`ask` is the immediate question: it should be specific, self-contained, and written in natural language.
`goal` is optional and describes the broader end goal you are ultimately trying to accomplish on behalf of the user. GitBook uses it to tailor the answer towards what is most useful for that goal.

The response will contain a direct answer to the question and relevant excerpts and sources from the documentation.

Use this mechanism when the answer is not explicitly present in the current page, you need clarification or additional context, or you want to retrieve related documentation sections.
